Venue Manager – Beehive Hotel
Location: Beehive, VIC
Employment Type: Full-Time
The Beehive Hotel is a much-loved local venue with a strong sense of community, energy, and pride in great hospitality. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to lead the venue forward, build a high-performing team, and continue raising standards across service, food, and atmosphere.
This role is ideal for a confident hospitality leader who wants genuine ownership of a venue, the opportunity to grow within a wider group, and the ability to make a visible impact day to day.
About the Role
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and culture of the Beehive Hotel. You will lead from the floor, set the tone for elite service, and work closely with your leadership team to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences. This is a hands-on role that balances people leadership with strong commercial awareness.
You will be supported by head office and senior leadership, while being trusted to run the venue as your own and develop both the business and the team within it.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and develop a strong management and floor team, fostering accountability, pride, and progression
Oversee labour and cost of goods performance, managing rosters, wages, and ordering in line with agreed benchmarks
Liaise closely with head office to track performance, manage budgets, and achieve operational and financial targets
Work alongside the Head Chef and kitchen leadership to drive consistency, quality, and smooth service execution
Maintain and elevate service standards across all trading periods, leading by example on the floor
Ensure the venue operates efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on guest experience
Build a positive, energetic culture that staff want to be part of and guests want to return to
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a pub or hospitality management role
Proven ability to manage labour, cost of goods, and venue benchmarks effectively
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, people-first approach
Confidence working with chefs and senior leaders to drive shared standards and outcomes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for hospitality, service excellence, and team development
